ABOUT THE CHURCH

Action Chapel International (ACI) is the Church arm of Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) – a Bible-believing church, founded in 1979 and presided over by His Eminence, the Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, and headquartered in Accra, Ghana. The church has grown significantly and has over 200 branch churches located in Africa, UK, Europe and America.

The congregation of Action Chapel UK is instrumental in carrying the Good News to their neighbourhoods in South & North London, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Birmingham through the network of branches. The regions are headed by regional Bishops who are assisted by Ministers, Deacons and Elders, some who were ordained in January 2022 (see photo below).

The church under the leadership of the clergy:
  1. reach out and impact the communities with the gospel of Christ through outreach, taking Jesus outside the wall of the church;
  2. develop ministries within the church, to identify, equip and release people to effectively fulfil their calling; and
  3. establish more local churches that preserve the integrity of the person and the works of Jesus Christ in our communities.

ACI UK, founded in July 1990, is the parent branch in the United Kingdom under which are 4 Regions: Area 11A, B, C, & D.

ACI UK Area 11B is under the stewardship of Rt. Rev. Dr. Irene Acquah-Hayford, with a total current membership of 200 (including adults, youth and children).

Our Mission

To train, equip and develop Christ-like disciples through prayer, the Word of God, prophetic and spiritual warfare, and soul-winning for the end-time harvest.

To reach out and impact our communities with the gospel power of Christ through outreach; taking Jesus outside the wall of the church

To develop ministries within the ministry, identifying, equipping and releasing people to effectively fulfil their calling

Church Planting: To establish model churches that preserve the integrity of the person and the works of Jesus Christ in our communities

Our Vision

To make Jesus Christ known throughout the World through the Multiplication of churches and denominations/affiliates.

GOD

There is one God revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each with distinct attributes. To God alone do all creatures owe the highest reverence, love and obedience.

JESUS

Jesus Christ is the Son and is divinely appointed as mediator between God and man.
He died, was buried, arose on the third day, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God interceding for us.

SALVATION

Regeneration is a change of heart by the Holy Spirit to a life of holiness, freely given by repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

FRUITFULNESS

The continual practice of the spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, Bible Study, and worship) are necessary for Christian growth and fruitfulness.

The word

The Bible is given by the inspiration of God and is the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of all-saving knowledge, faith and obedience.

BAPTISM

Water baptism by immersion is an ordinance of the church, obligatory upon every believer. Infants and children may be dedicated to the Lord, but they will not be baptized by full immersion into water.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is vital for understanding the Word, for power to witness, and for spiritual fruit in the life of the believer.

THE LOCAL CHURCH

Each believer must be committed to a local assembly for spiritual oversight, accountability, and participation.
