BISHOP DICK ESSANDOH
General Overseer of Europe

Bishop Dick Essandoh is the Bishop and Senior Pastor of all Action Chapel branches in UK and Europe. Born in London and raised in the West African country of Ghana, where he had his primary and secondary education. In his late teens he resettled in London where he received his National Diploma in Business and Finance at College and was admitted to Birmingham University to read Law. While at college, he was elected Deputy Head of the students union and sat on the school’s board of governors as the student representative to the governing board of the college, strongly presenting and defending issues that directly affected the interests of the student body.

After leaving Birmingham University he entered into various business partnerships. Prior to becoming a full time minister of the gospel, he worked at the head office of the largest automobile association in Europe. Bishop Essandoh dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ through the ministry of ACI where he was baptised, went through foundation classes and grew up to hold various positions of responsibilities which included Head of Merchandising, Head of Counselling, Head of Biblical and Foundation Studies and finally appointed as trustee of the ministry.

After serving under several pastors, he was commissioned and ordained to take over the running of the ministry as resident Pastor. Having started as a new convert and rising through various levels of Stewardship to become Pastor in the same church, Bishop Essandoh is a living epistle of the quality ministry that characterises Action Chapel. Bishop Essandoh has a strong passion for building, developing and equipping people to discover and fulfil their God given assignment. He is a man who cares deeply about community and family values and is constantly encouraging and seeking ways for churches to impact their communities with the richness of God’s love. He’s a member of the College of Bishops of Action Chapel presided over by Arch Bishop Duncan-Willaims. Bishop Essandoh is married to Lady Agnes and they are blessed with a daughter Elynne Rita.
